Jason's family wish to thank their families and friends for their continued love and support.
Jason Alan Carlson, Bear Down J was born on December 15, 1968 to Gary and Jayna Carlson in DeKalb, Illinois. He passed away on September 12, 2008 at University of Wisconsin Hospital. Jason was surrounded by his devoted family at the time of his death.
He lead a full life despite his severe battle with diabetes since the age of 7 and received three kidney transplants during his life.
Jason, an ardent Bears fan since childhood was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame as a fan in 2004.
